Positive discovery! Despite facing north my condo has sun beams! The Peterson Tower has mirrored glass panels. They reflect the light into my condo, with a coppery-tinted wash. It’s lovely.
Negative discovery! My walls are made of plaster and wire mesh. No studs. Elliot’s astute comment, “You are going to live in a piñata?!” On the positive side it made getting the cast iron tub out easier. Gene just cut away the wall. On the minus side, the electrician is going to have fits getting the wiring up to code.

Ugh, does it smell any less like cabbage yet? Probably not if that disgusting carpet is still in there. Blech!
