Yeah, yeah - Gene's doing all the hard work. My duty was to come in today and hand-label all the Ikea boxes that Lynden barged up to Alaska for me. Containing my new kitchen and so much more. In a lot of pieces. Time, work gloves, and a Sharpie. All done!

Once demolition was done the next steps aren't so visually interesting. Plumbing and electrical.
Rebuilding the bathroom wall.
My new shower.
And creating the space where the new fuse box (as mandated by the electrical inspector) will go.
Oh my gosh, this already looks so much better. I love how much light your bedroom gets. When do we get to see that disgusting carpet torn out? I bet you could send it to a lab, and they'd find cabbage remnants--ewww.
